I can see your doodle

Doodle Nails! These turned out completely random as most doodles normally do, but I love, love, love them. Worth the hour it took to do 2 nails. I used a plain black nail art pen that I bought from a chemist ages ago. I had to go over the lines about 3 times each to neaten them up and make them super black hence why they took so long, but they are uber cool. There are no real tricks to this besides having a steady hand and a tonne of patience.

  • Barry M Gelly - Prickly Pear (lilac)
  • China Glaze - White on White
  • China Glaze - Novo (glitter)
  • Black nail art pen.

Monochrome Madness meets Dashica stamping

Black, white and grey, a classic combo that never goes out of style. And with Valentines Day just around the corner, I suppose it's time to start hiding a few hearts here and there. Got to LOVE the kitchen sink mani, solves the problem of never being able to decide what to do. Do everything!

The grey is China Glaze Recycle with China Glaze White on White. The black is OPI Black, I have no idea what its called the sticker fell off ages ago. I stamped with Barry M Silver Foil and used plate Dash8 from the Dashica 20 piece stamping collection. The glitter is an indie polish from All That Glitters called Space Rock.

Here is the set in its entirety and it comes in this amazing little storage purse...cute! You can get the set from here.

The plates are super high quality and stamp exceptionally well and when you think of the cost of individual Konad stamping plates they are great value.

OPI - Lincoln Park After Dark

OPI describes this polish as "where midnight meets purple". Spot on! In normal light it appears as black however in sunlight you can see the purple undertones. It looks more purple in the bottle then it does on your nails. This is 2 coats with top coat. Its a crème formula that applied very well and dried to a glossy finish. This polish is from the Chicago collection.

Clean up for this polish is tricky due to its opacity and dark colour so try really hard not to flood your cuticles.
