Is it too early in the challenge to say THESE ARE MY FAVOURITE NAILS EVER!?! Rainbow nails! Last year's rainbow effort was sad, I was in over my head and rushing to pump out something rainbow related. But this year I can proudly say that I rocked rainbow day!
Today's design features:
- Zoya - Chits (green Pixie)
- ZOya - Carter ( purple Pixie)
- Zoya - Solange (yellow gold Pixie)
- Zoya - Chyna ( red Pixie)
- Zoya - Liberty (blue Pixie)
- Zoya - Dgara (orange Pixie)
The 1st picture was taken in direct sunlight. This 2nd picture was taken in indirect sunlight. Don't the Pixies look juicy and delicious in this bottom picture? I love working with these textured polishes. Because you don't need to use topcoat its a fairly quick process. One drawback, clean up can be tricky so take the time to use a bit of sticky tape to cover your cuticles.
To recreate this look use a medium sized striping brush and paint on a line of colour starting from your thumb. Follow the rainbow pattern over and over (purple, blue, green, yellow, orange, red) until you have covered all your nails. I really love how these nails came out. They are so bright and sparkly and put me in a good mood every time I look at them. Don'T forget to tag your pics with #31dc2013 if you are joining in on the fun. Until tomorrow.....
